Mother addicted to her hobby

I have read your letter, I think you should find a new activity for your mother. The activity should be emphasized all of members in your family to do together such as playing sport, cooking or shopping both of indoor and outdoor. And you should tell the reason about the former activity is not good for your health and makes other family members worry about it. Also, you should tell the reason a new activity is better than playing computer and smoking cigarettes. Moreover, you should spend the time more to stay with your mother and talk with her often.
She will not feel alone. Although it cannot change all of her habit now, you should try change it little by little everyday. If you do this, I believe, she will be a good single mom for you!

Which book do you have to buy?

If I am a teacher, I will buy this book (Your Turn Best 3). Because I think this book is very interesting and there are a lot of colorful pictures in the book. To make the student pay attention more when they open the book especially, contents of this book are emphasized learning by using Inductive approach. Through, the student will be taught from example to rule for knowing the sentence first. After that, they will do exercise and may listen to the tape following the passage. Then, they will do by themselves and finally end up developing some general conclusions by the rule. These are to make the student understand the grammar using and use it correctly and also they can apply the rule by themeselves.

My expectation for this course

I have learned English since I was young. Although my English skill is not well, I never think to stop learning English. Furthermore, I have studied in English major, it makes me to be confident more in using English. But in fact, English studying is not easy way in C.M.U. There are a lot of things that I don't know and also I have to compete with myself to catch up the other because my English background is not good. Thus, my expectation for this course is to gain knowledge about English grammar on how to use it correctly. Then, this course is to enhance my ability to use English in 4 skills including, reading, writing, speaking and listening. Also, I'm going to use the opportunity from this course to improve my English as well. Finally, I am confident that taking this course will assist me to have a good grammar teaching.
